The Panama Papers Scandal - The Mossack Fonseca law firm was forced to shut down after the leak of 11.5 million confidential documents which exposed the use of offshore corporations to evade taxes by many people and entities, these documents were known as the Panama Papers. Mossack Fonseca was shutdown in March of 2018.
Adobe Security Breach - A cyberattack in 2013 launched against Adobe is reportedly to have resulted in the leak of personal information from 38 million users. Information included emails, passwords, credit card information and more. Adobe also reported source code for Photoshop, Acrobat and ColdFusion having been stolen.
The Attack on Sony Pictures Entertainment - In 2014, millions of confidential documents from Sony were stolen and then posted online. These documents included details of recent film productions and employee data such as salaries. The US government believes that it was perpetrated by North Korea.
